High Cholesterol and Heart disease

Reasons
Cholesterol can be bound to fat and protein to different densities. Two main types include:
Low density Lipoproteins LDL- which is Bad cholesterol
Lipoproteins of high density HDL- which is Good cholesterol
You want that your LDL is in general LOW, and your HDL HIGH being.
The high cholesterol and other lipid disorder can be inherited / associated with taking Fatty foods, Diabetes, hypothyroidism, cushing syndrome, and failure of the kidney
Some medicines, including contraceptive pills, estrogen, corticosteroids, some diuretics, and beta blockers used for blodd pressure control
* The manner to live account, including use of the usual, excessive alcohol and lack of exercise, to lead to obesity.
The people who smoke and have high cholesterol are open to bigger risk of heart disease. The lipid disorder are more common in the men that women.
Symptoms of high cholesterol: There are not any symptoms.
Exams and Tests
A fasting lipid test the lipoprotein tests breeze cholesterol in four groups:
Total cholesterol, LDL-Bad cholesterol, HDL- Good cholesterol, Triglycerides
In general, a value of the total cholesterol more than 200 mg/dL can indicate a bigger risk for illness of heart. However, the LDL levels are a better predictor of heart illness and determine as your high cholesterol should be treated.
If you are already treated for these medical conditions then hpw you are treated also counts. i.e Diabetes, Hypertension poorly controlled, Currently smoke, males above age 45 or woman above age 55. i.e, Metabolic syndrome high triglycerides, low HDL, and obesity
