    Over weight is becoming a problem in almost people of all ages. A study shows about 70% of American population is over weight. By the advent of technological advances, the physical work has significantly decreased. So people doing sedentary jobs for years and of course, over weight are looking for weight loss products.

    Weight loss products manufacturing companies are exploiting this, the market is flooded with many weight loss pills and products. Rather than spending your bucks on these products and invite other complications, it is safe to shed pounds the natural way by following a good health conscious diet plan.

    Fresh vegetables and fruits rank number 1 in the diet scale. Cereals and nuts are higher in fat and carbohydrates so naturally rank high in the scale. So with vegetarian diet style one can easily manage weight loss program.

    One should take plenty of water, eat right combination of vegetable food avoiding high fat items like butter, nuts because they tend to increase weight and exercise regularly, preferably aerobic exercises like brisk walking, swimming, jogging and cycling etc. If you follow this regime for about few months you can achieve lean healthy body without spending your money in weight loss pills.

    Avoid snack like chips, cookies chocolate bars, candy as they are high on fat and calories. Instead of taking peanut, butter, nuts use whole grains snacks, fruits and vegetables during the day. Keep a record of what you are eating in the day for a short period of time in your weight loss program, at least for a month, their calorific values and record your weight also.

    Always avoid fast foods and junk foods. If available, apples and bananas can serve as full nutritious meal. Grocery shops are now selling whole grain vegetarian burgers. You can cook them in micro wave oven rather than frying, as frying makes use of vegetable oils which are high on fats. If possible stick with raw foods with fibre to enhance your digestive system.

    Vegetarian weight loss method is natural and without any side effects, more over cost effective and also highly nutritious. Then what else you want? In about three to four months you can loose considerable weight without any devastating after effects. This method is advised by physicians, dieticians and nutritionists.

    If you are diabetic then consult with your physician or/and dietitian before following this program.
