    AB Machines are not for weight loss

    Loose weight and get flat belly like chiseled. Use our ab machine for five minutes a day, and see the miraculous results in just few months with great looking abdomen. Because, more than 60% of the masses, in US are obese or over weight. So industries in this segment are magnetizing this nationwide obesity problem in a fast way. These are false promises and leave the buyer few hundred of few thousand dollars poorer. If these ab machines or weight loss pills work really, then the statistics about people overweight or obese would be wrong. But it is not so. 30 to 50 billion dollars per year is spend in US alone for weight loss. 60- 65 % of American population are over weight or obese. 7% increase in over weight population than 1994. What these AB machines do?

    Use any lounge chair in which the foot rest and back of chair moves together. Sit on such a chair and do the ab movement, which is a basic abdominal crunch exercise. In the advertisements the models with bare upper body, particularly with lean stomach doing exercise by their ab machine. This is to persuade you that you too can have a lean mid stomach like these models. These commercials or infomercials try to convince you that doing exercise with this machine is fun and easy. What are the real facts then? Abdominal exercises alone cannot develop lean mid section. These exercise build either muscle or make the muscle to work for longer.

    This is not going to melt away fat. If you are already suffering from low back pain, you should not do such exercise. Abdomens are a group of muscles, and by abdominal exercise, you are working a fraction of muscles. Burning the excess fat in your body is the first step in loosing weight. Burning more calories in each session is required for this and the latest ab machine alone can not do that in just 5 minute or 15 minutes indoor work out. Developing lean abdomen is possible if you are low on body fat already. The converse is, if your body fat percentage is high, then you cannot melt these fat by only doing these ab exercise with these machines alone. So if you are low on body fat, then you can use such machines to work out the abdominal muscles to get a flat belly.
